Back to our routine

It was the first day back to school after christmas break today. Thank goodness for that, these kids have been driving me crazy! I am dreading the summer, big time. Need to plan LOTS of stuff to keep from going crazy.
We had no issues getting back into our routine this morning, since they don't sleep in anyway. So everyday is like a school day, because I can't stand when we sit around in PJ's for too long. Even on weekends we are typically dressed by 8am, unless John is still sleeping.
After we dropped K off this morning, had to run to the bank and the borough office. That took about 10 minutes, love nearby errands! Then back home to clean/organize. I am patiently waiting for my couch, I don't feel like I can really organize the playroom knowing the old couch is going in there and I will probably reorganize anyway.
JT enjoyed time alone with me, no K to get in the way. We watched Blues Clues and Thomas together, 2 of his favorite shows. He loves sitting in his little chair.

JT napped from 1pm until it was time to get K. When K is home, he doesn't nap. But needs to still, but K is too loud for that to happen. He woke up when it was time to get K, he watched Choo Choo's in the car while we waited and I played K's DS.

Got home and had a snack. Grapes, goldfish, and a few m&m's.

K had PT today, her PT should be coming to an end this month, maybe next. Her orthotics came in today, she needs to wear them in her sneakers/shoes to help with her arch (since she has flat feet). It was funny because her therapist called to say we needed a check to pay for the inserts. Ha, we don't have any checks since moving to our new bank. Thankfully we had checks for the old bank account and still have that account. Her therapist said K is doing so great and she really is a bright spot at the end of her day.I can only imagine how hard her job is, I am glad K has that affect (at times). So far no issues with her inserts, she has to break them in a few hours each day. She will start wearing them all day Saturday.
So here are these $65 shoe inserts! Pretty snazzy huh?

So we got back home again, had dinner, did homework and then J played with his scooter he got for christmas. He was so darn cute, he was only interested in parking it.

Well that was our exciting day, bet you are glad I am blogging again. lol
