Juliette Low Bazaar

Juliette Low is the founder of the Girl Scouts for anyone who doesn't know. Our local councils put together a bazaar to sell stuff and raise money for the World Organization for Girl Scouts. The theme was famous women who used to be girl scouts. It was neat to see all the women who were girl scouts in their younger years. Our troop picked Tara Vandaveer, Stanford's head coach for womens basketball. This was a less than thrilling choice for K, lol. She wanted the astronaut, but no one else really did. No Biggie. The girls had fun, but seemed they only wanted to walk around and not work their stand. It was hard to get the younger ones to understand they had to work the stand, it was all boring to them. Dealing with money made them all nervous, since they are just learning about it in school. But all in all, they had a great time.

John was on call so I had to bring JT. Which really wasn't that big of a deal. I am so glad he is getting easier to deal with. I brought cars and he played for a little while.
Then John showed up and walked around with him. JT wanted a cupcake, so John let him pick one. Not the choice I would have made, but its all good.
K had $5 to spend and was able to get lots of fun stuff. Lots of crafty things. She thought it was so cool to have $5 and no adult shopping with her.
