Superbowl Sunday. K was excited to watch the football game, but not sure why. She never had an interest before. So we made shells and sauce for dinner (shells look like footballs) and made football shaped garlic bread. K and JT helped cut the footballs out of bread. JT didn't understand and ended up eating the one he cut out, lol.
Anyone who uses cookie cutters to cut sandwiches, knows you end up with wasted bread. Well we don't waste it here. The kids eat the scraps. They go into a container and will end up being used to make bread crumbs if they never get eaten. But they do get eaten, these kids like to dip bread in pizza sauce.
Watching the superbowl, eating cheeseballs (the special snack K picked). K got bored really quickly with the game, not sure what she really expected.
