Doctors and chocolate

K had her annual check up with the neurosurgeon and orthopedist. First thing she had to do was get her x-rays of her back. She was worried they were going to make her get an MRI instead. I assured her they were just doing an x-ray. So she got her gown on and waited for the X-rays. She thinks the X-rays are fun and easy. Her bones smiled nicely on the first try!
Then it was over to wait for the doctor. To pass the time she played with my ipod. I have a doodle app she likes alot. It has a chalk outline as one of its backgrounds. She thinks its neat how you can decorate a person. Got to love the innocence of a child.

Great news from the Orthopedist, the scoliosis they saw before is no longer there (it was very mild to begin with. And her roundback has not gotten any worse. This means, DISCHARGE!
Next stop, across the hall to the Neurosurgeon. While waiting, Kenzie worked on Mad Libs. They are so much fun. We did a really funny story about a fancy pirate!
So neurosurgeon appointment went well too. He doesn't believe any of her muscle tightness in her legs and ankles is not related to the tethered cord. Which is fantastic news! So he believes one more check up next year and he will discharge her if she continues to have no problems.

As a reward for doing so well, we headed over to Friendly's for lunch. Kids ate all their chicken so they got to have ice cream. JT had M&M's on his and Grandma Eves took one. Well JT does not like when people take his food! So he dropped his head to the table, so upset, lol. So I took another M&M and had Grandma Eves give it back to him. She did and all was well. He then asked if she wanted some M&M's and gladly share. He just likes people to ask before taking his stuff. Fair enough.
K had some cookie dough ice cream with M&M's for eyes and Peanut Butter cups for ears.
And the reason we like Doctors in Hershey so much?
Because it means a visit to Chocolate World!
