The Beach!

We decided it would be a good day to take a road trip! Weather was gorgeous and we didn't really have alot more to get ready for vacation, which is 2 weeks from today!

We brought John's mom along with us. She made me laugh because she had worn capri's. She rolled up her pants and her sleeves on the beach because it was pretty hot. But then when we got to the boardwalk, you would think it was a new season, lol. She had her sweatshirt on and her pants rolled down! Sure there was a breeze blowing, but it wasn't cold.

JT LOVED the big sandbox, not quite thrilled with the water though.

After we were done at the beach, we hit the outlets, then we headed for lunch at Grotto's. Got a great deal on 2 pairs of crocs at the outlet. $2.99 for a pair of crocs for JT and $4.99 for a pair of Mary Jane crocs for K! We also got our $1 flip flops at Old Navy.
Grotto's was a little disappointing. I LOVE their chicken tenders, best on the planet. So we ordered our food, JT's little pizza came out, but not our food yet. JT had eaten 3/4 of his pizza before we finally got our food. Now the good and bad part. The bad part is (besides it taking a really long time to get our order of chicken tenders and a cheese steak), they changed their chicken tenders! Now they are just like every other restaurant. Thankfully I like their pizza too and it was always hard to decide which to get. Now the clear choice is pizza. The good part is the manager took the late arriving food off our check since it should not have taken so long! We did not complain at all to get this done.
