My thoughts for August 11 have to do with why society feels the need to cuss ALL the time. It doesn't matter where I am, it seems there is always someone around me cussing. Or for that matter, around my (or any) kids. Do kids need to hear this? What happened to people being aware of what or who is around them. I would never cuss with small kids around. Are we really looking to raise our kids to be such potty mouths? When I was a kid I never heard adults use such language. And what bugs me the most is, I am called a goody goody cause I don't cuss. I just feel there is a time and a place for that kind of language and most of the time I don't feel any need for it.
To hear the A word, the D word, the B word on TV makes me quite angry.
So what are your thoughts?

ReplyDeleteI agree with you too!!!! My husbands family cuss all the time and it makes me sick along with my husband and I'm always yelling at him for it! (more when he is playing his games) I never heard my parents cuss while I was growing up nor do I hear my dad as a grown up! What is wrong with people today!
