Despite the air show being cancelled today due to not having the air clearance to fly, we went to the Community Days the airport anyway. We figured it was something to do and looking at airplanes would be fun. The kids got to sit in an air force jet, check out the firetruck, tractors, and see a bunch of aircraft. I found out that I can fly an airplane without going through schooling! They do something called Discovery Flights, the pilot flies the plane up and then I get to take over controls. HOW COOL IS THAT? Flying a plane is something on my bucket list. Along with some other things you probably wouldn't guess. But we won't get into that now.
Sitting in a helicopter
K being the helicopter pilot.
After the airport we headed up to Trans Am so John could check out the motorcycles. Then we stopped at the Pretzel Factory. Yum, we love pretzels.
Then John asked his mom what she wanted to do and she gave complicated answers. Then finally said you like to go to Target, that is fine with me. So we drove out to Harrisburg to the mall then to Target. Stopping first at the Harrisburg airport just cause we had never checked it out before.
K tried to convince us she needs a new "real" quad.
And she decorated a bobber (is that what they are?) at Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World.
