The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

We traditionally decorate for Christmas the Saturday after Thanksgiving every year. Here is a peak into our fun decorating day!

Can't decorate without christmas shirts, right?

Who needs a real tree as long as you have kids to put the branches on a fake one?

Every year we take the cheesy picture of us putting our first ornament on the tree
(which every year since 2003) has been our Disney ornament.
It makes me laugh because you have no idea how many takes we can get up to before we get one I like, lol.

Kids in Mickey Santa hats. Christmas day we will all be wearing our hats, until then they usually serve as decoration on our entertainment center.
See the santa hats?
And here is our tree and half the living room.

But not everything goes so perfectly all the time, does it?
Sometimes you get....

Attitude instead of smiling,

goofy eyes closed faces instead of perfect pictures,
tantrums for whatever reason they can think of,
And even some minor train derailments.
All because someone had to make the train go full speed.
Even with all the bad spots in the day, I wouldn't trade it for the world.
