Back to School

I shouldn't say I dread this time of year shopping. I love shopping. But its so hard to spend the money. I know she needs some new school clothes, people who have uniforms don't realize how easy they have it!

However shopping for Kenzie's sneakers is a most dreaded task. Finally did find sneakers that fit her orthotics nicely and were kind of cute. Had a 15% off coupon for Kohls so that was even better.

Today we headed out to get school dress shoes. Not as dreaded, since the orthotics won't even fit in them. But I want to find shoes with a good arch, so that she is still getting the support she needs. That is alot trickier than I thought it would be. I thought about going to stride rite. $50 for a pair of shoes? My SAHM budget can't handle that.

I did score a couple dresses from Kmart on sale for $5 each! Very cute.

And Kenzie got a lunchbox she likes, so I can take the tinkerbell one I was not a big fan of buying, back to the store! I now need to go out and get fabric to make her some cool cloth napkins for her lunchbox. She is not embarrassed by them anymore. I want to order her some sandwich wrap n mats and I just noticed the snack pouches are awesome too! I thought about making it myself, but looking at the price of the stuff to make it, its almost cheaper to buy it!

So my ramblings for today are done. I am working hard searching for the best bargains to save money. My husband works very hard to let me have the opportunity to stay home with my kids. So I owe it to him to try to save money as much as possible.
